Dóra Csernus, Director for Climate and Environmental Policies, Gábor Filippov, Director of Research and Marek Bertram, Analyst were in Dubai for the most important climate change event of the year, the UN COP28 climate conference. They participated in a number of exciting presentations and discussions, including one with Diána Ürge-Vorsatz, a member of the Advisory Board of the Equilibrium Institute, on the huge potential for reducing our energy use.
The staff of our think tank also made valuable professional contacts. The Future Foundation is Dubai’s largest think tank on future policy challenges, and with its experts Dr. Heba Chehade and Fatma Abulhoul Al Falasi, we are preparing for exciting collaborations in the fields of climate adaptation, water management, smart cities and innovative urban planning.
