The book entitled Hungary 2030 – A Future Vision for Hungarians is published jointly by Osiris Publishers and the Equilibrium Institute.
This volume is the product of close to two years of research and it presents the political, economic and social vision proposed by the Equilibrium Institute. The volume was edited by Tamás Boros, the Director of the Equilibrium Institute, and Gábor Filippov, the Equilibrium Institute’s Director of Research.
Hungary 2030 focuses on three main objectives:
- Based on the prevailing and historical facts and trends, it provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of Hungary today and its outlook in the near-future.
- It outlines an alternative realistic vision of the future for Hungarians, with the prospect of a more successful, more competitive and happier Hungary.
- It sketches the normative and public policy framework that could help realize this future vision within the span of a decade.
Hungary 2030 is not a conservative, socialist, liberal or green political manifesto; it is a forward-looking action plan for the future. It provides a pragmatic policy framework based on widely held values that anyone can relate to regardless of their political background – provided they share our interest in Hungary’s future and the commitment of the Equilibrium Institute’s team to actively help our country.
