Equilibrium Institute, the Budapest-based policy think tank invited three renowned experts in the field of energy security to discuss the new geopolitical situation caused by the war, and also the implications of the new energy and climate policies.
The Equilibrium Institute invited Olga Khakova, Deputy Director for European Energy Security at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center in Washington, D.C., to share her thoughts on the new geopolitical situation caused by the war in Ukraine. Her fellow panellists were Diana Ürge-Vorsatz, Vice-Chair of Working Group III of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and György András Deák, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Strategic Defense Studies of the National University of Public Service.
The discussion was moderated by Dóra Csernus, Senior Climate and Environmental Policy Expert at Equilibrium Institute.
