Mr Becsey specialises in industrial policy, multi-sectoral vector analysis, macroeconomics, SME policy and competitiveness.
He studied at the Corvinus University of Budapest and attended courses in India, London and Glasgow.
Zsolt Becsey regularly publishes in the Hungarian business press and on his own social media platform. Since 2020, he has been a member of the Network for Entrepreneurship Research and Analysis organising committee. At the Equilibrium Institute, he works as a senior economist and is the professional curator of the Institute’s quarterly economic forecast.
