Daniel Bartha, director of International Relations at the Equilibrium Institute was a speaker at Congress 590 in Warsaw. One of the biggest economic fora in Poland was opened this year by President Andrzej Duda. Talks on the future of the Polish economy, security and strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative, the situation in Ukraine, the establishment of the Three Seas Initiative Leaders Academy and the signing of a letter of intent on the construction of small nuclear reactors were in the focus of this years forum.
During the panel discussion focusing on regional cooperation, Daniel discussed the future of the Three Seas Initiative (TSI) and the current geopolitical challenges the CEE region faces, with particular attention to China and Russia. Other potential areas of cooperation have been mentioned as well, such as the most important infrastructure projects in the region.
